About

Mark O'Connell is a father of 3 and a grandfather of 1. He has been working in the mortgage industry since the late 80s and has mostly originated mortgages throughout New York State, Vermont, and Alaska. Mark spent two years in Washington, D.C., and in the Office of Native American Programs as the Deputy Director of the Office of Loan Guarantee (the Section 184 National Program Office). It was there he learned the importance of Section 184 and the lack of experience in the field providing mortgage programs to our Native Communities. His knowledge in this industry is extensive, and his drive to improve housing in Native Country is unmatched.
