One suggestion; when closing it would be helpful for your team to remind clients that if you have autopay on the current mortgage it needs to be suspended. Because our loan closed the day before a holiday the old loan was not paid of prior to 12/2, hence we ended up paying when we didn’t need to. I know this payment will be returned to us but it’s cost us $105 in overdraft fees and a mad scramble to cover bills that had not processed yet. It should have been something we thought about but a reminder from the closing team would have been great.
