I have been remiss in taking some time to compose a letter recognizing some wonderful companies and their employee’s my wife and I have had the please to work with these past few months. Background. Our daughter, son-in-law and grandson had been living with us for roughly eight months after a series of financial setbacks caused them to lose their apartment. While their financial situation has improved, they were unable to find a new place to rent due to low credit scores. We are very blessed that we were able to purchase a low-cost property that we could rent to them. The challenge was in locating a property that fit into the budget of around 275k. We started this journey in looking a condos and town homes where we ran into a wonderful relator from “City Of Trees Real Estate” named Ethan Ullman. We explained to Ethan our goals and that we had pre-qualified through Wells Fargo for this new loan. While we were not exceptionally excited on the Wells Fargo quoted terms, Ethan suggested we reach out to a local company called “Movement Mortgage” and put us in touch with Mike Morrison. I must tell you that Ethan is the hardest working realtor I have ever had the pleasure of working with. The process of locating potential homes in our price range was difficult, but we did manage to find one in a couple of weeks’ time. A nice 2 bed, 2 bath, town home only five minutes from my daughter’s work Ethan was at every inspection and even helped us in locating some moving boxes. Ethan worked hard to negotiate the final price below list and with the seller paying a portion of the closing costs. And this was not the best news. Mike and his Team at “Movement Mortgage” were able to find us a rate below 6% and when all was said and done, the monthly payment turned out less than what many rentals were going for in Boise. We worked with so many great people at Movement Mortgage and the process was very user friendly. A huge thank you to Ethan and Becky with “City Of Trees Real Estate”. Mike, Shawn and Dana with “Movement Mortgage”, with all their help and assistance through this purchase. I must also mention the closing process with Whitney, Natalie and Michael from “First American Title”. The communication leading up to it was extremely efficient, and on closing day, in and out in less than 30 minutes. If you are looking to purchase your first home or looking to help Family as we were, you cannot go wrong with any of the above companies and ever more importantly, the Team Members who represent them and made our journey so pleasurable.
